Zoe MacLean Is Riding High Innew Livery Venture

Zoe (23) took on Patures New Livery in October 2007, offering her knowledge and expertise that has been gratefully received by a growing number of clients.

Built by the Robinson family at their farm near Belsay, Pastures New is a livery yard that offers deluxe equestrian facilities for the discerning client.

Zoe came to the yard believing she could add something to the livery business.

Her equestrian career has included competing in dressage, eventing and show jumping. She represented the South Northumberland branch of the Pony Club in all three disciplines, but found her love lay with eventing.

After leaving school she went to train with top event rider Charlotte Ridley.

There she developed a taste and flair for working with horses, and knew she would like to run a similar business herself one day….
