The Prize:

The Trivia Question:

The trivia question was name the rider that won a World Championship title, the horse, the year and the venue that inspired Kentuckians to host an international event at the Kentucky Horse Park.

The Answer:

And the answer was:  Bruce Davidson on Irish Cap in 1974 at Burghley.  The event become what we know today as the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event.
