Hey just came across an interesting bit of news about William Fox Pitt in regard to the Rider Saftey Air bag you featured on Episode 24. This is a quote from from WFP website in the news section where he posts updates about his competitions:

    Lackham HT:

“I certainly tested my air bag yesterday. It was the Masters Apprentice first event and after a very respectable dressage and clear show jumping things took a turn for the worse. My bit broke before fence 2 whereupon he turned around, and with flapping cheek pieces, bolted over the first fence backwards – I leant forward to catch the noseband that broke and the whole bridle came off – we were heading at speed to the double rails over the road – so I decided to test my air bag and a bail out. As soon as I came off Archie headed back to the horse box. I am fine apart from being a little jarred but I certainly had a lucky escape and thank my lucky stars I had the airbag on. The last time I bailed out was when I was 8.”

By the way fabulous radio shows (Eventing, Stable Soop, WEG and now Dressage). It’s great to be able to listen to you at work when I am do my legal admin tasks. Hope you have Missy Ransehousen on more often or even both her and her mother Jessica Ransehousen Would also be great if you interviewed more up and coming riders like Doug and Holly Pane and Waylon Roberts or some “across the pond” like Harry Meade.
