Evie Going for Gold in Belgium

A Teenager from Ellesmere will represent Great Britain and British Eventing at the European Junior Championships to be held in Belgium next month.
 
Seventeen-year-old Evie Paterson, daughter of MP for North Shropshire, Owen Paterson, is one of six riders selected to represent Team GB at the eventing championships in Waregem from September 11-14.
 
This is the second time Evie has been selected for the team, as she was a part of the 12-person team when the UK hosted the championships last year.

This year, however, with the tournament being held in Belgium, Evie is one of just six riders, and fought hard to qualify for the team…
