Nicholson Wins Eventing Series at Highclere

New Zealand eventer Andrew Nicholson won this year’s Stately Homes Challenge with a fifth place at the final event in the series, at Highclere Castle at the weekend.

Both Nicholson and South African rider Alexander Peternell finished on 46 points, but Nicholson was 3 seconds closer to the optimum time cross country and was awarded the win.

Last year, Nicholson was joint winner with Oliver Townend, and was the outright winner in 2007…
